We had a super classy weekend. We went over to Princeton to see an art exhibit. Yeah, I know, who am I? Well, we didn't go to the art exhibit on purpose. We went to Princeton to eat, drink beers and go shopping. However, on the way down Nassau Street, we saw advertisements for "City of Gold: Tomb and Temple in Ancient Cyprus." Since we went to Cyprus last year, we figured we should check it out. The exhibit featured about 100 artifacts from a twenty year excavation of Polis Chrysochous, the site of the ancient city of Marion and its successor city, Arsinoe. It was pretty impressive, as was the entire museum. Who knew there were Warhold, Monets and de Koonings hiding on Princeton's campus? Also, the only reason I recognized a de Kooning was because of Revenge. (Victoria Grayson met her husband Conrad after she sold him a forged de Kooning and then Conrad hid all the evidence of the conspiracy against David Clarke in the painting...duh). Oh, and then we did go eat too much food. But, we kept it classy and got a flatbread with an egg on top. Things are always fancier with an egg.
